Preparing for his October 24th superfight with Paragon standout Bill “the Grill” Cooper, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu icon Antonio “Nino” Schembri took the time to drive down to San Diego for some training with Saulo and a couple of University students. In a closed training session, fighters were rotated in on Nino, taking his cardio and grips to the limits. After the hour long sparring session, techniques were exchanged and analyzed. Overall, a good spirited gathering of the two Jiu Jitsu giants. The fight will take place in San Clemente, California, at the Jiu Jitsu Pro Gear Open. Make sure to come support Nino, and all the competitors that are representing the University of Jiu Jitsu.
